This place He's given to me as a gift.. To live out His will for my life. A place where I can train up my girls, nurture my husband, make people feel welcomed. A place to feel safe. A place where God resides. A place that is maintained by my husbands work for his employer, but stands on God's provisions.
Chores are made fun. I teach my children that housework is not something that is done in vain for there is a huge return when we keep our house. The benefits are: a clean, fresh home, getting sick less, getting along better, and most of all, worshipping God through service in caring for what He has given us. And teaching the children to serve at home is a wonderful way to not only prepare them for the time when they will keep their own homes, but it teaches how to serve others. We all clean up after each other, team work is a wonderful lesson, but service to one another is deeply encouraged.
The benefits of having an organized home are really incredible.. Days run so much more smoother, and without physical clutter in my surroundings, my brain is also less cluttered. If you should need inspiration a wonderful site for a jump start to making your home nice and fresh and clean is FlyLady. You can find great ideas and encouragement at that site.
I pray for your efforts to be fruitful in your home with all that God has given you, whether that be plenty or little. It is all a gift..
Many Blessings Special Woman....
